9-Day Essential Egypt Tour with Nile Cruise

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo, Airport Transfer and Free Day

Arrive any day in Cairo. Upon your arrival in Cairo, you will be met with our company representative in the arrivals area of the airport who will be holding a signboard with your name on it. After meet and greet, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Cairo. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids – Sakkara – Memphis – Cairo (49 km).

After your breakfast, it’ll be time to begin your tour to the Pyramids and Sphinx, the first visit of the day will be to the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You will have the chance to explore the wonders of the Great Pyramid and discover the beauty of the Sphinx. After enjoying the view and taking your lovely photos you will move to Sakkara, which includes the step pyramid of King Zoser the oldest pyramid in Egypt. After that, you will move to Memphis. Here you’ll see the best and the biggest statue of King Ramses the Great. Finally, you’ll head back to Cairo for another night at your hotel.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, we will go to the Egyptian museum, gaze at the wonders of King Tutankhamen, including his golden Mask, lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries, after that have lunch at a local restaurant, then will be taken on a tour of Cairo famous Churches, and old Mosques, After this day in Cairo back to your Hotel.

Day 4: Fly from Cairo to Luxor – Nile Cruise

Check out from the hotel in the morning and then transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight with Egypt Air to Luxor. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you by an air-conditioned vehicle to board your Egypt Nile cruise and to check in. After lunch on board, enjoy a visit to the impressive Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple. Dinner and overnight on board Nile cruise.

Day 5: Valley of the Kings Excursion

After breakfast disembarks on the west bank of Nile. Your private guide will take you to the Valley of the Kings for its Pharaohs’ tombs and then head to the nearby Valley of the Queens for the tombs of Pharaohs’ wives. Continue to the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, where the relics tell you the tale of the divine birth of a female pharaoh. After that, head to the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III to see the huge Colossi of Memnon.

After the tour, return to the ship and sail to Edfu enjoying a leisurely dinner on board.

Day 6: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

After breakfast on board your Nile Cruise, you’ll visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple, dedicated to Horus at Edfu.

Next, sail to Kom Ombo to see the unique Temple of Sobek, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god.

Have your lunch on board. Continue sailing to Aswan.

Day 7: Aswan Excursions

After breakfast on our Nile cruise, enjoy a day’s sightseeing in Aswan. Start with the High Dam and the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk. Afterwards we’ll proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor.

Day 8: End of Nile Cruise – Excursion from Aswan to Abu Simbel, followed by a Flight from Aswan to Cairo

In the early morning, our guide will escort you to Abu Simbel. We aim to arrive around 9 am, just in time to explore one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring sights – the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel. These temples, uniquely designed for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari, are among the country’s most impressive landmarks. After the tour, we will return to Aswan to board your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and enjoy some leisure time.

Day 9: Departure from Cairo – End of Tour Service
