7-Day Highlights of Jordan Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Amman – Welcome to Jordan

Upon your arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, our company representative will be ready to welcome you in the arrivals area. Look for a signboard bearing your name. After a warm meet and greet, you’ll be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Amman. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy at your leisure.

Day 2: Amman City Tour – Jerash

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up and embark on a 1-hour drive to Jerash. Once a member of the Decapolis during Roman times, Jerash is considered the best-preserved example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. With the guidance of a local guide, history will come alive as you explore the spectacular Forum, walk along the Roman colonnaded street, and visit the Nymphaeum, theatres, and the Temple of Artemis.

Returning to the capital in the afternoon, your exploration will continue with visits to historical places in downtown Amman. Start with a visit to the Citadel to enjoy panoramic views over the hilly capital. On the Citadel itself, you’ll see remnants from the Roman to the early Islamic period, such as the Hercules Temple, the Umayyad Palace, and the small Archaeological Museum. Not far from there, you’ll find the Roman Theatre, which can accommodate up to 6,000 visitors.

In the heart of downtown, immerse yourself in local life as you stroll through the markets (Souq), where you can find everything from fruit, vegetables, and spices to clothes, household goods, and more. After a full day of historical exploration, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Amman, where you can rest and reflect on the day’s adventures.

Day 3: Madaba – Mount Nebo – Dead Sea

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and depart for Madaba, a city renowned for its magnificent Byzantine-era mosaics, including the famous 6th-century map of the Holy Land. Your exploration continues as you proceed to Mount Nebo, the place where Moses is believed to have gazed upon the Promised Land before he died. Take in the spiritual significance of this site and enjoy the breathtaking views. End your day with a relaxing soak in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, known for its buoyant waters and healing properties. Overnight at a hotel by the Dead Sea, where you can reflect on the day’s journey and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 4: Kerak – Petra

After breakfast, drive along the Kings’ Highway, one of the oldest continuously used trading routes in the world, stopping at the Crusader castle of Kerak. Continue to Petra for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Petra Tour

Today, experience the crown jewel of Jordan: the red-rose city of Petra! Early risers can embark on this adventure as soon as 06:00, but if you plan to start early, don’t forget to request a breakfast box from the hotel the day before.

Meet your local guide and embark on an unforgettable journey through the narrow canyon known as the Siq, adorned with vibrant, colorful sandstone. The path culminates in a breathtaking view of Petra’s most celebrated monument: the Treasury.

Continue your exploration via the Street of Facades, leading to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. After approximately 2 hours, your guide will bid farewell to you near the restaurant area, allowing you some free time to explore Petra on your own.

For the adventurous, there is the option to climb the 800 stairs to the towering Monastery El Deir, standing 45 meters high. This climb offers an additional opportunity to immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of Petra.

When your exploration is complete, make your way back to the main gate and rest up.

Day 6: Petra – 2 Hours Jeep Ride – Wadi Rum Camp

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and meet with your driver. Transfer to Wadi Rum and stop at the Visitors Centre. Here you will enjoy a half-day jeep tour of Wadi Rum. A jeep tour is the best way to discover many sites in Wadi Rum. The jeep will stop at each site giving you time to roam around and a chance to climb some of the beautiful naturally formed bridges in Wadi Rum. Afterwards, enjoy dinner and overnight at a campsite in Wadi Rum.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Amman for your flight home. Reflect on the memorable experiences and beautiful sights of Jordan as you depart. This will be the end of our tour and services.
