2-Day Pamukkale and Ephesus Tour from Istanbul by Flight

Day 1: Fly from Istanbul to Denizli – Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul around 4:00 AM and transferred to the airport for your flight to Denizli. Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour guide and begin your full-day tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis.

First, explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through historical landmarks such as the Necropolis, Roman Baths, Temple of Apollo, Theater, and Cleopatra’s Antique Pool (optional entrance, extra cost).

Next, you’ll have the chance to walk barefoot on the famous Pamukkale travertine terraces, also known as the “Cotton Castle,” where thermal waters have created stunning white calcium formations over thousands of years.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kuşadası for check-in.

Day 2: Ephesus Tour – Fly Back to Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and be picked up at 8:30 AM for a full-day tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world.

You will explore the highlights of Ephesus, including the Library of Celsus, Great Theater, Temple of Hadrian, and Trajan Fountain.

After lunch, visit the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be the final home of Mary, the mother of Jesus. You will also see the remains of the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

At the end of the tour, around 4:00 PM, you will be transferred to Izmir Airport for your evening flight back to Istanbul, departing between 7:00 and 10:00 PM. END OF OUR SERVICES AND TOUR.

Please note: Transportation from Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to your hotel in Istanbul is not included in the tour price.

• Your return to Istanbul will be in the late evening, estimated between 7:00 – 10:00 PM. The exact time will be confirmed once flight tickets are booked after payment.
• You can swim in the Antique Pool in Pamukkale, but please note:
  • There is an extra entrance fee, which must be paid directly at your own expense before entry.
  • You must bring your own towel, swimsuit, and other necessary items if you wish to swim.
